Castelino 5 AKA "Castle"

We are excited to welcome Castelino 5 aka “Castle” to the MZ Farms/Chestnut Hills herd and look forward to seeing this lovely gelding in the Equitation and Hunter Rings this year. Thank you to Justin Resnik, Shayne Wireman, and Skylar Wireman for making the long journey to find this special boy. This 2012 Holsteiner was sired by Castelan II (Casiro 1 x Gracia III by Sandro) out of Antaria (Casall x Sefra by Chambertin). Castle is qualified for the 2023 3'3" Large Junior Hunter Finals by earning Reserve Champion in the Large Junior Hunters at Desert International Horse Park Week 5 and NEE Seaside Equestrian Festival 5. Castle and Skylar Wireman recently won the $10,000 Equitation Show Down at Seaside 4 in a very competitive field of riders. Castle earned Champion in the 3'3" Junior Hunters at Blenheim Spring Classic 2.

Call My Name 4 AKA "Commi"

We love this sweet chestnut boy who is always the first to greet us at the barn. Call My Name 4, AKA "Commi" is a 7-year-old, 16.2hh Hanoverian gelding by Comme il faut x Quidam de Revel who had a 2022 winning winter season at WEC Ocala in the 6-year-old young jumpers. He and Skylar Wireman recently won a 1.20m round at the Sacramento Spring Classic and placed 2nd in their first 1.30m round at that show. Snapshot AKA "Milo"

Milo is a red roan medium gelding pony. He is very sweet and loves taking care of young riders. Milo is happy on the ground or under saddle and has a beautiful trot. He is the hack winner all day long! After successfully competing in the rated mediums on the A circuit for many years, he has begun teaching new riders the ropes from walk-trot through short stirrup. In May 2022 he was champion in the Children's Ponies at the West Palm Events Memorial Day Classic in Los Angeles. In June 2022 he earned Champion of the Small/Med Children's Ponies at the Blenheim Red, White, and Blue Classic. Milo currently resides with BTH Equestrians in Sacramento, he and his rider Kate just earned Champion in the Walk-Trot Division. USEF#5205758

Baldeur AKA "Baldy"

Baldeur is a 15.3 1/2hh, 2004 Westphalian gelding out of Balou du Rouet and Walesca. He started his career in the United States as a Grand Prix jumper and has successfully transitioned to work in the Equitation and Hunter rings. He is solid over fences, taking great care of his rider. He has all the tricks needed for success in the equitation ring, so bring on the "haunches in", "counter canter", or "shoulder in", Baldy responds with precision. Baldeur and Lillian most recently were the 2023 Circuit Champions in the 3'3" Small Junior Hunters (16-17) at Desert International Horse Park. Starswept Sienna Skies AKA "Sienna"

Sienna is a speedy medium chestnut mare jumper pony. She loves to teach riders the ins and outs of the jumper ring. She is fun and honest. Sienna taught many young riders the ropes in the jumper ring at the .60 - .75 level. Sienna loves to be groomed and loves treats. Sienna is currently leased to Megan Mahoney Riding Academy.

Patchwork Rockstar AKA "Rocky"

We welcome ⭐️Patchwork Rockstar ⭐️ aka “Rocky” to the MZ Farms herd! Rocky is a 2022 Colt sired by Anning’s Luigi (Small Land Martello x Cherrybrook Blue Velvet by Gayfields Vida Blue). His dam is Patchwork Star Dust (Glannant Captain x Patchwork Charmaine by Glannant Epic). Thank you to Emily Elek @stonewallponies and Piper Klemm @piperklemm for finding another Star ⭐️ to add to our pony collection. We love him already!

Maryville Sir Henry "Henry"

We welcomed Maryville Sir Henry aka "Henry" to our MZ Farms/Chestnut Hills herd in February 2023.

Thank you to Liz Halliday-Sharp and Peter Wylde for sharing this boy with us! Henry is a 10yo Irish Sport Horse. He and Liz had been winning at International Eventing up to CCI3*. He is coming along beautifully in the 3'6" Confirmation Hunters and Derbies with Skylar Wireman. Henry and Lily have earned multiple Junior Hunter championships together. Henry is already qualified for the 2024 3'3" Large Junior Hunter Finals. Henry also doubles as an Equitation Horse, where his well-developed flat work through his dressage background is very impressive.

Chavetto PS "ChaChi"

We are very excited to welcome Chavatto PS to the MZ Farms/Chestnut Hills herd in January 2023! This 2017 Oldenburg gelding was sired by Chacoon Blue (Chacco-Blue x Cindina by Cartoon) out of Cornetta (Cornet Oblensky x Gazetta by Careful). We look forward to watching him progress this year with Skylar Wireman. Chavetto is in young hunter training at Chestnut Hills Equestrian Center and is not currently available for sale or lease.

Panther's Tradition AKA "Guinness"

Guinness is a 16hh registered American Quarter Horse. He has worked in the hunter ring and has done dressage. He is mild mannered and very reliable. He loves to be groomed, going on trail, and enjoys sharing a pasture with his buddy Remi. Guinness has amazing ground manners and is very patient with new riders. He loves attention, especially in the form of a good wither rub. Guinness is a favorite in IEA lessons and shows. Most recently Guinness was champion in the cross-rail division at a GSHHJA Show in Vista. Guinness is currently leased.
